ABOUT

Jill Bauerle brings an eye for the unlikely and the patience for letting life unfold to her documentary style of storytelling. She has directed, produced, shot and edited feature-length and short docs for web, film and television. Not to be underestimated, her old media skills—writing, reporting and interviewing—also inform her work.

A fiction writer in her spare time, Jill has received fellowships from The MacDowell Colony, The Millay Colony for the Arts, and the Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation. Her essays have appeared on the web site, mrbellersneighborhood.com, one of which was included in the 2009 anthology, “Lost and Found: Stories from New York,” edited by Thomas Beller.
